tryna be spoiler free LOL but in the same mission, at the end, you’re forced to stare at the worlds least detailed chode in existence. Gooseberry is less tame, as the mission loads, she kinda pulls an eddy gluskin on a nun, but tbh it’s not really anything SA related does it more just feel like gore. it’s allllluded to in the form of mannequins having been bent over, or burnt by their crotch, but no cinematic you’re expected/forced to watch one of the main antagonists in 1 of the programs, coyle, definitely has a kink for sexually torturing male prisoners. I think the biggest red flags would come down to dialogue and implied visionary. Thanks!Īs someone who also watches out for scenes like that in media, i personally don’t find trials anywhere near as bad as 1 and 2 Could you tell me some of the scenes in Trials involving sexual violence and how intense they are? I don't mind some spoilers for this, the last thing I want is for my buddy to go in blind into a massively triggering scene. While I normally prefer blind playthroughs for this kind of thing, I'm willing to bite the bullet and assess what kind of sexual violence-related content is in this game to make sure it would be safe for my friend to play. There are several scenes in previous games that I definitely think would be too much for her, such as the torture scene in Whistleblower, and many of the enemies making it clear they're going to rape you (before or after they kill you). But the problem is that this friend is a survivor of SA, and therefore has some pretty serious triggers relating to content with/about graphic sexual violence. However, I have a friend that wanted to play it with me since she saw that Trials was going to be multiplayer. So, I was a pretty big fan of the first two Outlast games, so the Outlast Trials is definitely on my to play list.
